Introducing Lucca’s cutest and least serious cycling team.

We’re launching the Lucca Mini Racing Team — a fun, slightly silly kids cycling club for riders aged 3–8. The plan is to get together about once a month for relaxed rides, little challenges, and the occasional gelato ride.

We’ll meet for coffee at Lucca Collective at 10:00am, then head out for some riding with two options depending on age and confidence:

• Wall Lap – older kids can ride one full lap of the Lucca walls (~4km) as a relaxed, supervised group ride.
• Piazza Riding – younger riders can stay nearby for free riding, slow races and cone slalom games.

The focus is simply having fun on bikes and building confidence, not racing. Lucca Collective is proudly sponsoring the team (mainly with stickers, coffee and moral support).

Helmets are suggested, and parents should ride alongside younger children.

If any kids would like to join but don’t have a bike, let us know — we may be able to organise one to borrow.
